Steel Grit can also be used for granite cutting. Steel grit for granite cutting has higher hardness to increase cutting efficiency compared to normal steel grit materials

Typical Chemical Composition:

Carbon	0.80 – 1.20 %
Silicon	0.15 – 1.20 %
Manganese	0.30 – 1.20%
Sulphur	0.05 % max
Phospor	0.05 % max
Chrome	0.60 – 1.50 %

Physical properties:

Density	Min 7.00 g/cm3
Standard Hardness	40 – 69 HRC (other hardness class on request)
Metallography Structure	Tempered Martensite
Hardness	GH 64 - 69 HRC GL 54 – 60 HRC GP 40 – 51 HRC Other harnesses available upon request.
