The Application of Steel Grit :
| SAE | Applications |
| G-12
G-14 G-16 |
Removal of sand or scale from large-medium size castings and forgings. Blasting of steel, billet, steel pallet and heat treatment products |
| G-18
G-25 G-40 |
Granite cutting for cleaning casting, cleaning the steel structure (fabrication). Removal of sand or scale from medium – small sized castings and forgings. Blasting of heat treatment products, chain, steel pallets, section of steel, billet and structural steel. |
| G-50
G-80 G-120 |
Cleaning non ferrous castings and metal structures (fabrication). Removal of sand or scale from non ferrous or copper alloyed castings and steel structure. Blasting of thin plate and stainless plate. |
Steel Grit can also be used for granite cutting. Steel grit material used for granite cutting has higher hardness to increase cutting efficiency, compared normal steel grit materials.
