Physical properties:

MicrostructureUniform martensite tempered to a degree consistent with the hardness range.
Hardness41 – 51 HRC. Other hardnesses available upon request.
DensityThe specific density of cast steel shot shall not be less than 7.0 gm/cc.

Steel Shot is widely to clean metal surface, especially by shot blasting machine (wheel). Steel Shot provides a greater penetration effect because of the smaller point of contact.
