Has very good resistance to basic slags and is widely used in vacuum melting applications for the metling of superalloys. It is non-wetted by Ni, Co and Fe based alloys. Less dense than zirconia and preferred by some customers for X-ray analysis. Maximum service temperature 2000°C.

The crucible capacity that can be made is from 1 to 500 kg in weight, for transfer ladles from 10 to 200 kg and refractory shapes according to the size needed.
