Hanger type shot blasting machine is specialized in large castings on machine tools and machinery and other steel structural parts suitable for this size. Through the shot blasting sand cleaning, not only can remove the sand on the surface of the workpiece, but also eliminate the stress of the workpiece, improve the fatigue strength of the workpiece, increase the paint film adhesion when the workpiece is sprayed with paint, and ultimately improve the surface of the entire workpiece and the internal quality of the purpose. The shot blasting machine has the following characteristics:
- The arrangement of the blast chamber body and the blast wheels are determined by computerized 3D dynamic blasting simulation.
- The use of centrifugal blast wheels with large blast volume and high blast speed can significantly improve cleaning efficiency and achieve satisfactory cleaning quality.

Equipment Characteristics
Hanger type shot blasting machine is a hook type shot blasting cleaning equipment, consisting of a shot blasting cleaning room, shot blasting machine assembly, shot recycling and purification system, dust removal system, hook system, and electrical control parts.
Shot Blast Assembly
The shot blaster assembly consists of the shot blaster, motor, and so on. The transmission adopts a direct connection type, which is easy to replace.
Shot Blasting Machine
- High Efficiency: With the special wheel structure, the blasting efficiency can reach 16kg/min-kw.
- Rapid Mounting and Dismounting of the Blades: Since the blades of this blasting machine are inserted from the center of the impeller and fixed by centrifugal force during the rotation of the impeller, there is no need for any clamping tool. When dismantling the blades, it is easy to remove them from the center of the impeller by lightly hitting their outer end. It takes only 5 to 10 minutes to dismantle 8 blades, and the wear of the wheel and the directional sleeve can be checked at the same time.
Pellet Circulation Purification System
The pellet circulating purification system can be divided into the circulating system and the pellet separating and purifying system, which consists of a screw conveyor, bucket elevator, pellet and sand separator, and pellet conveying pipe.
Screw Conveyor
The screw conveyor consists of a cycloid reducer, screw shaft, conveyor cover, seated bearings, and so on. This component has been serialized by our company, with high versatility and interchangeability, and stable, reliable performance. The whole spiral shaft is processed as a single piece after welding, ensuring the coaxiality of both ends of the spiral shaft. The screw conveyor transports the pellets collected in the bottom hopper to the bucket elevator, an important part of the equipment's pellet circulation system. Its inner and outer rounds are processed by special technology and then stretched; the pitch and outer round size are very accurate, which improves the life of the screw and reduces operation noise.
Bucket Elevator
The bucket elevator consists of a cycloid reducer, upper and lower drums, conveyor belt, hopper, closed barrel, and tensioning device.
The inlet of the bucket elevator is connected to the screw conveyor, and its outlet is connected to the separator. The elevator cover adopts a bending and molding welded structure, and is equipped with an access door glued with foam rubber to ensure no leakage of pellets occurs. The hoisting hopper can be repaired and replaced. Opening the door cover on the lower casing allows repair of the lower drive and inspection of the spiral pellet supply, eliminating clogging of pellets at the bottom. This machine adopts flat belt rotation: during operation, the hopper fixed on the conveying belt scrapes up the pellets at the bottom of the elevator, and driven by the elevator's motor, sends the pellets to the top of the elevator. The pellets are then dropped by centrifugal gravity and fed into the pellet-sand separator.
Pellet Sand Separator
This machine adopts an advanced BE type full curtain separator. The separator mainly consists of a sorting area, conveying screw, pellet bin, and pellet control gate, among other components.
The separator is one of the key components of this equipment. The design size of its sorting area directly affects the separation effect: if the separation effect is not good, it will accelerate wear and tear on the blasting machine blades, reduce their service life, and increase maintenance costs.
Dust Removal System
This dust removal system consists of a cartridge dust collector, ventilation ducts, and dust removal fans.
Filter Cartridge
The filter cartridge used and manufactured in China is used for dust removal equipment and the powder coating industry for powder recycling. It consists of a rubber mat, galvanized steel mesh, filter material, and upper and lower end caps.
Filter Media
Traditional filter media have a fiber gap of 20-40 microns. Dust particles pass through these gaps, and some become embedded in the filter media, blocking the filter material (flame-retardant) and reducing its filtration efficiency; as the blockage worsens and cannot be effectively cleared by dust blowing, the dust collector's resistance steadily rises and the dust removal system's air handling capacity is reduced. The filter material used in our filter cartridges has a unique three-dimensional mesh structure, made of hot-rolled non-woven fabric surface compounded with polymer plastic foam material after stiffening treatment, with a layer of submicron-diameter fibers on its surface. These tiny sieve holes block most particles on the surface of the filter material, which accumulate rapidly and form a permeable dust-blocking cake, maintaining long-lasting high filtration efficiency — quickly forming a dust cake that is easy to remove during backblowing.
Hook System
This system accomplishes the functions of hanging the workpiece, lifting the workpiece, and moving the workpiece inside the chamber. The equipment has a total of 2 sets of 1-ton electric hoists. The hook is composed of an electric hoist, self-rotating device, chain wheel, and so on. The movement and lifting of the hook is driven by the electric hoist, and rotation of the hook inside the chamber is achieved by the rotary device driving the chain wheel.
Electrical Systems
The electrical components of this machine adopt the Chint brand. The whole system is manually controlled, making it convenient for debugging and maintenance personnel to adjust the equipment: the operator can start each functional component in sequence, or run individual functional components (such as the elevator) out of sequence for spot-checking, in order to test the performance and operation of each relevant component.
Each motor's working status on this machine has a corresponding indicator, so the operator can understand the status of the equipment at a glance.
