Zinc Shot is a blasting media made from 99.95% Zn. Zinc shots use in blasting applications where potential a high risk explosion with aluminum media.
Zinc Shot is best suited for deburring and deflasing the type of metals such as Alumunium Alloys products, Magnesium Alloys Products and Zinc Alloys products for Automotive Parts, Motorcycle parts, Electrical appliances, Constructions etc on die casting and gravity castings.
Due to the low hardness of zinc, it is very effective in removing surface coating and does not damage the workpiece, and it has good safety. Zinc Shot generates less dust on the surface of workpieces both steel and alumunium, and provides protection of metal surfaces with Zn up to 1.3 microns in size. Zinc Shot harder than Zinc Cut Wire and more aggressive. Zinc Shot has up to 3 times more wear resistance compared to Zinc Cut Wire
