Wet Blasting is similar to Dry Blasting. Wet-Blasting use mixing a dry abrasive with water through either Water Injection Nozzles, Halo Nozzles, Wet Blast Rooms or Modified Blast Pots. The Advantages Of Wet Blasting are Less Dust (due to the use of water, wet blasting reduces the amount of dust produced by the abrasive blasting process), more protection to operator, hydrostatic forces (the presence of water means that there is more mass at the point of impact and may require less abrasive), and cleaner. Wet Blasting process will consume water during the process, higher cost due to water pumping, mixing and reclamation systems, plus the requirement for containment and drainage can increase the costs of wet blasting and the amount of equipment required, and producing wet waste.
By wet-blasting process, we can clean the grease and dirt. Wet Blasting process will not change the surface color on the workpiece due to temperature during the blasting process. The WetBlasting is more suitbale for micro powder sandblasting media, which is higher than #400 such as precision moild, electronic parts, piston ring, aviation parts, surface pretreatment of titanium plate, circular saw blade etc.

 

The cabin for wet-blasting can be made of glass fiber, reinforced plastic or stainless steel to avoid corrosion.
